When my family and I first moved to Fort Collins, Colorado we discovered a hotel located across the street from Colorado State University and within walking distance of Old Town Fort Collins. We had a great experience at the Best western University Inn during our stay. The rooms were very clean rooms as well as a reasonable price.
If your coming in from out of town visiting someone on campus or for any other reason then the Best Western University Inn location is ideal for you.
There are many shops, restaurants, bars and breweries located nearby and Best Western even offers bicycle rentals if you prefer to explore Old Town on a bicycle.
There are also many other areas to explore close by, such as hiking to Horsetooth falls, white water rafting on Poudre Canyon river or if you feel more adventurous you can head up to Estes Park and then into Rocky Mountain National Park which is about a 45 minute drive from Fort Collins to Estes Park and while you’re there don’t forget to check out Bear lake and the beautiful hiking trails there.
